On April 14th, when Mr. Li drove to Xi'an Aerospace Avenue, he encountered an routine inspection of the tail gas of the environmental protection department. At the scene, the surveillance video was collected. It was found that this institution did not carry out regular inspections in accordance with the national standards when conducting environmental protection periodic inspections on the vehicles of the AWG7** vehicles. It is understood that Article 48 of the "Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Exhaust Pollution of Motor Vehicles and Non-Road Mobile Machinery in Xi'an", which was implemented on January 1 this year, stipulates: "The environmental inspection method is not in accordance with the national, provincial and municipal regulations. If the technical specifications are inspected or falsified during the inspection activities, the inspection fees collected shall be confiscated, and a fine of not less than 100,000 yuan but not more than 500,000 yuan shall be imposed, and a fine of 5,000 yuan may be imposed on the legal representative of the institution." If the environmental protection inspection is carried out by temporary replacement of the vehicle exhaust pollution control device, etc., the environmental protection department shall order it to make corrections and impose a fine of 5,000 yuan on the motor vehicle owner."
It is understood that in order to strengthen the management of motor vehicle exhaust pollutants and cooperate with the elimination of yellow-label vehicles, the Shaanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Department requires all units to carry out the sign-issuing in strict accordance with the norms, and do a good job in registering, issuing and invalidating signs. Serious violations of laws and regulations in the inspection and signing of motor vehicles shall be handled in accordance with the law.
