Steel Aluminum Extruded Finned Tube
The extruded finned tube is a kind of heat exchange element that has been widely used in recent years. The previous fin forms were all wound fins, string fins, and welded fins. Because the heat transfer coefficient of steel is relatively low, the heat transfer efficiency of the finned tube made of steel tube sheet is not high.

Fins are mechanically locked into a helical groove in the outside of the tube. Rollers press displaced metal from the groove against the base of the fin to form a lasting metal-to-metal bond.
Although the aluminum material has high thermal conductivity, the mass density of the aluminum material is relatively low, and it cannot withstand high temperature and high pressure. The melting points of the two materials are different, so they cannot be welded.
