Russian Deputy Prime Minister Kudrin: Russia should be prepared to deal with the rise and fall of oil prices

Russia’s deputy prime minister and finance minister, Alexei Kudrin, believes that the uncertainty of the world’s oil price outlook indicates that Russia must be ready to deal with the rise and fall in oil prices.
Kudrin said during the 12th Annual Investor Seminar on Tuesday that some time ago there were predictions that oil prices would fall because of the slowdown in global economic growth. However, Kudrin pointed out that despite the slowdown in economic growth, oil prices are still rising.
Kudrin said: "At the moment, what we see is not commensurate with the previously forecasted trends and it is not consistent. So for Russia, this means that we should be prepared to deal with everything: whether it is rising or falling. ."
