According to the news from China Coal Group, the first ZDY-2800 pillar-type pit rig developed by Shimei Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. was successfully applied in the Dacun coal mine in Yanzhou, Hunan province, and it drilled 80 meters into the roadway with a hardness of f10 full rock. The cost is about 150,000 yuan. This product has changed the original design concept of a small tunnel rig and made bold attempts in the field of vertical column tunnel drilling rigs, which greatly reduced construction costs and improved coal search efficiency. It has been estimated that using this equipment to perform drilling and coal-finding operations will cost only 1% of the original cost and increase the efficiency by nearly 30 times.
