European Union Auto Electronic Product Certification Number

From October 2002, according to EU Directive 72/245/EEC and the amendment to Directive 95/54/EC, all automotive electronic and electrical products that enter the EU market must pass e-Mark related test certification. The e mark, the European Union's customs will be released, allowed to enter the local market, so the e-Mark certification of automotive electronics and electrical products is imperative.

National certificates are numbered accordingly:

E1 - Germany E2 - France E3 - Italy E4 - Netherlands E5 - Sweden
E6 - Belgium E7 - Hungary E8 - Czech Republic E9 - Spain E10 - Yugoslavia
E11 - UK E12 - Austria E13 - Luxembourg E14 - Switzerland E16 - Norway
E17 - Finland E18 - Denmark E19 - Romania E20 - Poland E21 - Portugal
E22 - Russia E23 - Greece E25 - Croatia E26 - Slovenia E27 - Slovakia
E28 - Belarus E29 - Estonia E31 - Bosnia and Herzegovina E37 - Turkey

The e mark is the certification mark of the vehicle's complete vehicle, safety components and systems that the European Commission uses to force Member States to use EU directives. The testing agency must be a technical service agency within the EU member states, and the issuing agency is the government transport department of the EU member states. All EU member states that have obtained e-mark certification will be recognized. As with the E mark certification, the certificates of each member state are numbered accordingly:

Whether it is the E mark or e mark certification, the first product to pass the test, the production company's quality assurance system must at least meet the requirements of the ISO9000 standard.
