In the first half rotation of the rotor, the space surrounded by two adjacent blades gradually increases to form a partial vacuum and suck liquid. In the second half of the turn, this space is gradually reduced, the liquid is squeezed, and the liquid is pressed into the discharge pipe. According to the installation position of the sliding vane, there are a built-in vane pump (slide installed on the rotor) and an external vane pump (slide mounted on the pump body). Generally, the working pressure of this kind of pump is below 7MPa. The sliding vane pump has a compact structure, a small external dimension, a relatively uniform flow, a stable operation, a low pulsation and noise, and a higher efficiency than a general gear pump. The sliding vane pump has a complex structure and parts are subject to wear. It is mainly used for hydraulic systems and lubrication systems such as machine tools, hydraulic presses, lifting and transportation machinery, construction machinery, and plastic injection molding machines.
