Float switch installation method

1. The installation position should be far away from the inlet, otherwise the switch will cause malfunction due to the fluctuation of the inlet.

2. If the switch device is in the wall of the container, an L-shaped angle bracket can be installed.

3. If the switching device is in the stirring area, install the anti-wave tube or anti-wave baffle.

4. Select the flange connection pipe whose inner diameter is larger than the float ball diameter.

5, the use of multi-core cable is recommended when wiring.

6. The load of the controlled line must match the float switch contact capacity.

7. The specific gravity of the liquid to be measured must be greater than the weight of the float.

8. The operating point of the float ball has been adjusted at the factory according to the customer's order request. Please do not adjust the position of the float freely.

Level switch contact protection circuit

When the float switch is used in a circuit that has inductive loads such as motors, relays, solenoids, etc., it is recommended to connect the protection circuit in parallel across the load. Such as: RC (buffer), varistors, diodes and so on. Note: Do not connect the float switch directly to the solenoid valve, motor, or solenoid switch.

When the float switch is used in capacitive loads such as capacitors, incandescent light bulbs, and long cable lengths, a swell current will occur between the contacts of the switch. It is recommended to connect the protection circuit in parallel across the float switch. Flow resistors or surge absorbers, etc.

Mixing Criteria for Selection of Mixer

The type of mixer is dependent on many factors some are as follows but these are not limited to the following:

• Production requirements: Batch or Continuous.

• Capacity throughput

• Characteristics and nature of product, additives and mixed material characteristics and flow ability.

• Uniformity of mix and additives.

• Quantity and percentage of Major, Minor and Micro ingredients

• Powder to liquid or liquid to solid mixing requirements.

• Does the material form lumps during mixing or require conditioning

• Clean down and contamination/ Clean down and sanitary requirements.

• Selection of suitable end seal for specific materials is very important.

• Heating or Cooling.



QUANTUM Paddle Mixers

The QUANTUM Paddle Mixer is unsurpassed for its FAST, THOROUGH BLENDING. Curved, adjustable paddle blades combine a scooping and lifting action with a unique [criss-cross" blending pattern to assure a complete uniform blend for partial batches as well as full batches.
