The National 863 Program supported the "Key Technology Study of High-Pressure Common Rail Heavy Duty Diesel Engines " and achieved initial results. The project designed and developed a high-pressure common-rail pump with an injection pressure of 180 MPa. The common-rail tube that meets the requirements was tested on a cold-draw test rig, and a bench test was performed on the engine to verify that the common-rail fuel is high pressure. The key components and parts development and key technology research have laid a good technical foundation.
At the same time, the project developed 32-bit microcontroller hardware and basic software based on multi-cores to complete the A+ sample rack and three-high test, and achieved a good control effect; CDPF (diesel particulate filter with catalytic coating) was developed. The regenerated catalyst coating meets the purification control of THC (Total Hydrocarbon) and CO (Carbon Monoxide) in the regeneration stage, and a molecular sieve type SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) suitable for use with the CDPF system is developed and small batch production is realized; VNT (variable nozzle turbocharger) booster system technology for EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) technology, research on secondary booster technology, and control and regulation strategies for turbocharger systems and implementation of installed machines.
