Chifeng Power Grid upgrades electric highway to Liaoshen

On July 29th, it was the day that the 500-kilovolt Huafengning Power Transmission Project Bahrain Substation and the Chifeng Northern Power Grid successfully docked for one month. The reporter came to the Bahrain substation on that day and saw that the 220 kilovolt power transmission lines that were connected in series with the three flag counties of Bahrain, Bahrain, and Arukol were cut off and intercepted, and were connected to the Bahrain substation via two interfaces. A "π" shaped join is formed. The successful docking of the Bahrain station marked the complete upgrade of the Chifeng power grid, and an “electricity highway” leading to the Liaoning-Shenyang area was officially launched.

Chifeng is an important energy base in Liaoning Province. Each year, 29 million tons of coal is produced, 10 million tons are sold to Liaoning, and 19.7 billion kWh is produced each year, and 12 billion kWh is sent to Liaoning each year. In the cooperation with Liaoning's energy industry, Chifeng insists on the simultaneous transmission of coal and electricity, giving priority to the development of transmission, relying on ultra-high voltage transmission technology, and changing the "big channel coal transmission" to "big grid transmission."

In August 2008, the 500-kilovolt Huafenging Power Transmission and Transformation Project officially broke ground. After more than one year of construction, the lines in Chifeng have been put into use. The project, with a total investment of 3.59 billion yuan, began in Xilin Gol League Baiyinhua Jinshan Power Plant and finally reached Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. The line passes through the six flag counties of Bai Yinhua and Chifeng City of Ximeng, with a total length of 1366 kilometers. . Among them, there are nearly 700 kilometers of lines in Chifeng with an investment of 2.2 billion yuan. Qingshan Substation and Bahrain Substation became the important interface between Chifeng's local power grid and this EHV line.

The operation of the Huafengning Superhigh-Pressure Lines has made the power bottleneck that has once constrained the economic development of Chifeng “clear to the blood”. Zhang Guoyan, deputy director of the Bahrain substation, introduced: The 220 kV lines that were connected together in the Northern Qixian County were problematic at each node, and the downstream flag counties and counties were all powered off. After the operation of Bahrain substation, the reliability of power supply, power supply capacity and voltage quality have been greatly enhanced. In the past, every spring and summer season, Wang Rong, director of the substation of the Hongling Mining Company in Bahrain Zuoqi, worried that he would receive a call to limit the load of the flag power dispatch center. Lao Wang calculated an account: Each time the load was limited, mining and processing machinery had to stop operating. The economic loss per day was 500,000 yuan, and the 30-day power cut for a year was 15 million yuan. Nowadays, there are fewer telephones that limit the load, and the voltage of the power grid is also sufficient. Pharaoh no longer has to adjust the voltage regulator of the transformer frequently.

By the end of 2009, the installed capacity of wind power in Chifeng reached 1.4 million kilowatts. However, the fragile power grid has caused many wind power companies to fall into the “difficulty of vehicles”. After connecting the Huafengning Power Grand Passage with the Chifeng Northern Power Grid, the capacity of the power grid to accept wind power has been significantly improved. The power generation capacity of the city’s wind power companies has been increased from more than 600,000 kilowatts before the docking to more than 800,000 kilowatts, Dali, Saihanba, etc. The wind farm basically achieved unlimited delivery. At present, the Yangshuigou 500 kv wind power station for boosting and boosting power station projects relying on Huafengning Power Transmission and Transformation Project has already carried out preliminary work. After the project is completed, the city's wind power transmission capacity will reach 3 million kilowatts, and the bottleneck that restricts wind power access will be fully opened. After the completion of the Huafengning line project in Liaoning Province, the power transmission capacity of Chifeng will be doubled, and the city’s thermal power, wind power, hydropower and other energy will be smoothly imported into Liaoshen area.
