According to the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Transport has issued a notice to waive the passenger car toll from the National Day holiday this year, and requested all localities to effectively carry out major holiday holidays to waive the implementation of tolls for small passenger cars of 7 seats or less and further improve Major holiday toll highway access efficiency and service level.
According to the "Notice of the State Council on Approving the Implementation Plan for Exempting Small Passenger Cars' Tolls from Major Holidays of the Ministry of Transport and Other Departments", the documents to be determined by the General Office of the State Council each year will be during the Spring Festival, Ching Ming Festival, Labor Day, National Day and its consecutive holidays. Seven-seat and smaller passenger cars travelling on toll roads will be free of charge. The Ministry of Transport decided to implement the "Notice" requirements starting from this National Day holiday.
The Ministry of Transport requires that, as the first National Day holiday to implement the free passage of small passenger vehicles, all local transportation administrations and toll road operating management agencies must make serious preparations and strictly follow the implementation plan approved by the State Council at the provincial people’s government’s Under the unified leadership and organization, together with the departments of development and reform, finance, supervision, and corrective work, formulate specific work plans, implement responsibilities, cooperate closely, organize meticulously, plan overall arrangements, strengthen road network operation monitoring, and ensure safe and smooth road traffic during the holidays.
The competent transportation departments and toll road operating and management organizations at all locations shall conduct a comprehensive investigation of the existing toll lanes of highway toll stations. During the major holidays, in accordance with the requirements for free passage of small passenger cars of 7 seats or less, a clear and clear guide mark shall be established in advance in an appropriate location to rationally arrange, co-ordinate arrangements and use existing toll lanes and free dedicated channels. In particular, the toll stations with large traffic volume should set up special free shuttles for major holiday minibuses to avoid the mixed traffic of toll vehicles and free vehicles.
When there are traffic jams and traffic peak hours, the toll road management agency must have special personnel to take charge of the command; each additional toll station must send additional personnel, take effective measures, strengthen on-site management and traffic guidance, and promptly handle congestion problems. Toll stations that are seriously inadequate for toll crossings must pay close attention to investigations and demonstrations, study and formulate plans for widening and reconstructing, increase the toll crossings, and satisfy the traffic demand of vehicles.

During major holidays, highways, information and information boards, traffic and radio, television, websites, and mobile phone short messages shall be used to timely release road traffic travel information during major holidays, and to inform and guide the public in advance to select reasonable travel time and routes so as to avoid excessive traffic.
