Recently, CNPC's Lanzhou Chemical Research Center, CNPC North China Chemical Sales Company and Saihong Jinyu Group jointly launched the "China-made solution for polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber for key technologies and industrialization of safety, energy-saving and high-performance tires" and won the title of China Petroleum and Chemicals. Industrial Federation 2015 annual third prize for scientific and technological progress.
Low-rolling resistance, low fuel consumption, wear resistance and better resistance to slippery and high-performance tires have become the current development trend of the tire industry
The project created a precedent for the large-scale application of homemade SSBR in high-performance tires. The high-performance tires manufactured are sold to Europe and the United States and other developed countries and regions, and they play a leading role in the tire manufacturing industry in China. At the international advanced level. The technology has been successfully applied by companies such as Saihong Jinyu Tire Co., Ltd., which provides technical support for the large-scale application and promotion of SSBR in high-performance tires in China, and has cumulatively created economic benefits of 642.219 million yuan. At present, Dushanzi Petrochemical's SSBR plant is producing at full capacity, achieving full production and production.
Energy-saving, environmental protection, and safety are the directions for the future development of automobiles. High-performance tires with small rolling resistance, low fuel consumption, wear resistance, and better resistance to slippery and wet have become the current trends in the tire industry. The tire labeling methods introduced in Europe and the United States and other developed countries and regions impose limits on the rolling resistance, wet skid resistance, fuel efficiency, and rolling noise level of tires. On March 1, 2014, the "Green Tire Technical Specification" standard of the China Rubber Industry Association began to implement. At present, China's tire production accounts for about one-fourth of the world's total output, and its export rate is about 40%. However, China's tires mostly belong to EU standards E or F. With the implementation of relevant tire laws and regulations, the upgrading of the tire industry is imminent.
SSBR is the first choice for high-performance tires with low rolling resistance, high wet skid resistance and high wear resistance. Its research in China started in the 1970s, but its production and capacity are seriously inconsistent because of the lack of mature SSBR processing in China. The application of technology has led to the inability of domestic SSBR to be used on a large scale in the tire industry. Research shows that the root causes of this situation are twofold. First, the SSBR technology and processing technology are completely different from that of emulsion-based styrene-butadiene rubber (ESBR) and must be reinforced with white carbon, despite the white carbon modification technology and white. The carbon black reinforcement technology has been studied for many years, but it has not been able to effectively solve the technical problems of uneven dispersion of white carbon, easy reunification, and poor combination of SSBR matrix. The performance advantages of SSBR have not been reflected, which seriously restricts the application of SSBR in tires. Secondly, the operational mechanism of SSBR production, sales, R&D, and application is backward, and each link is relatively independent, which leads to disconnection of production and market, separation of technology development and application, and restricts the sound development of SSBR industry chain.
In view of the problems and historical background of China's SSBR and tire industry, CNPC began to organize its project, led the organization of a technical research team, and focused on SSBR processing and application technology as a breakthrough.
The technical team studied the relationship between domestic structure and application performance of domestic SSBR, processing and application characteristics such as vulcanization and reinforcement, and conducted performance comparisons with similar international products. The research results obtained include: (1) Surface Modification Technology and Continuous Low Temperature of Silica Black. Mixing process, carbon black / silica double-phase reinforcement; (2) proprietary processing technology and matching technology of SSBR in high performance tires; (3) low expansion coefficient tread rubber formula and gradient temperature vulcanization process technology (4) High-performance radial tire manufacturing technology, built a high-performance radial tire production demonstration line; (5) Created an integrated technology promotion and service platform for CNPC's SSBR “production, sales, research, and useâ€.
From the technical point of view, the development of white carbon surface modification, low temperature continuous mixing process, dual phase carbon black reinforcement, SSBR tread formula and high performance tire preparation and other technologies have broken through the application of domestic SSBR in high performance tires. The technical bottleneck formed a high-performance tire preparation technology with independent intellectual property rights. The wheel rolling resistance coefficient of radial tyres prepared by Saiwan Jinyu Co., Ltd. using this technology was increased from the original E-class or F-class to C-class, and the wet-slip resistance index was improved from the original E-class or F-class to B-class, and the average car traveled 10,000 kilometers. It can save about 23L of fuel consumption, reduce CO2 emissions by about 40kg, and greatly improve safety performance, shortening braking distance by more than 10%.
The technical achievements have been applied in many tire companies such as Sai Jinyu, Zhongce Rubber, and Sichuan Haida. Among them, the high-performance tires produced by Sai Jinyu using this technology have successfully entered the high-end markets in Europe and the United States. From 2012 to 2014, it produced more than 38.4 million high-performance tires. With the successful application of this technology in Jinyu, the exemplary role has been continuously highlighted, which has promoted the large-scale application of domestic SSBR in tire enterprises.
With the implementation of the “Green Tire Technical Specificationâ€, the pace of domestic tire industry upgrading will be further accelerated, providing opportunities for the development of SSBR, and the market demand will grow rapidly. The successful development of this technology has provided a solid technical guarantee for the technical progress and industrial upgrading of China's synthetic rubber and tire industries.
From the perspective of economic and social benefits, the direct economic benefits are obvious: (1) The largest sales volume of CNPC's North China Chemical Sales Branch SSBR increased by 28,019 tons, the average ton profit was calculated at 1,000 yuan, and the cumulative increase in economic benefit was 28.019 million yuan. (2) The most used racing wheel Jinyu Group tire products have accumulated 38.4 million pieces of production and sales for 3 years, and the average profit has been calculated at RMB 16. The cumulative increase in economic benefits is RMB 61,440,000. The newly added economic benefits of SSBR products and tire products totaled 642.219 million yuan.
It is understood that tire companies such as Linglong Tire , South China Tire, and Shaanxi Yanchang have also requested cooperation with China National Petroleum Corporation to develop high-performance tires. There will be a new situation in the use of domestic SSBR rubber and the production and sales of high-performance tires.
Soy wax is a type of vegetable wax made from soybean oil. It is a natural and renewable resource that is biodegradable and non-toxic. Soy wax is commonly used in candle making as it has a lower melting point than traditional paraffin wax, allowing for a longer burn time and a cleaner, more eco-friendly burn. Soy wax also has a natural scent and can be easily scented with essential oils or fragrance oils. Additionally, soy wax is easy to clean up with soap and water, making it a popular choice for DIY candle makers.
